Certified Translation

Legalisering.dk can provide you with a certified translation, where a document is translated by an authorized translator who stamps and certifies their translation. This is often referred to as a sworn translation or a confirmed translation—there are many names for this beloved service. You will receive this type of translation in physical format, and no changes or corrections can be made to the translation. You will first receive your translation in PDF format, and then we will send the physical translation with a wet signature via GLS to a parcel shop near you.

Certified Translation Including Legalization

The second solution we offer is a certified translation with endorsement from one of our certified translators, which can also be legalized. This is done by obtaining a confirmation from Dansk Industri or a notary, followed by an apostille from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Due to recent requirements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will need you to send us your original document for most tasks, as this must also be legalized with an apostille alongside the translation. You can either obtain an apostille for the original document yourself, or we can assist you with that. Your document must be issued by a Danish authority before we can assist with legalization, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs only legalizes translations attached to originals.

Company-Certified Translation

This type of translation is performed by a professional translator who is then proofread and endorsed by our company’s letterhead, confirming the quality of the translation. Company-Certified Translation with Legalization

The company-certified translation, which includes our company letterhead, can be legalized with Dansk Industri or a notary and apostille. We have extensive experience with the legalization process and ensure that your documents are always correctly legalized. If you send documents that cannot be legalized, we will promptly inform you and guide you on how we can solve your task.

As stated above, due to the requirements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will need you to send us your original document for most translations, as this document must also be legalized with an apostille before the translation can itself be legalized. We are happy to assist you with this.
