Certified or Legalized Portuguese Translations with Apostille

At Legalisering.dk, we offer four solutions for your Portuguese translation. Please note that we can translate Danish documents into European Portuguese and English documents into Brazilian Portuguese.

Certified Translation

The first solution we can provide is a certified translation into Portuguese, which refers to a document that has been translated by a certified translator. Your translation will be signed and stamped. This is also commonly referred to as a sworn translation or a confirmed translation, which means the same. Please be aware that you will receive this type of translation in physical paper form, and no changes or corrections can be made to the translation. You will receive your translation in PDF format, and then we will send the physical translation via GLS to your specified address.

Note: We only provide a scan for translations from Portuguese to English.

Certified Translation with Legalization

The second solution we can offer is a certified translation that, as mentioned above, will be equipped with an endorsement from our authorized translators. This translation can also be legalized; this is done by obtaining a confirmation endorsement from Dansk Industri or a notary, followed by an apostille from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Due to requirements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will usually need you to send us your original document, as this document must also be legalized with an apostille before the translation can be legalized. You can either obtain the apostille on the original document yourself, or we can assist you with it. Your document must be issued by a Danish authority before we can help with the legalization.

Company-Certified Translation

This type of translation is performed by a professional Portuguese translator, who is proofread and then provided with our company cover page that confirms the translation. This can be a good alternative for a cheaper translation if the recipient accepts this type of translation.

Company-Certified Translation with Legalization

The company-certified translation that includes our company cover page can be legalized with endorsement from Dansk Industri and apostille. We know the procedure and ensure that your documents will always be legalized. If you send documents that cannot be legalized, we will inform you of this and assist you with how we can solve your task.

As mentioned above, due to the requirements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will usually need you to send us your original documents, as these must also be legalized with an apostille before the translation can itself be legalized. You can either obtain the apostille on the original document yourself, or we can assist you with it. Please specify your preference in your inquiry.

Language Combinations

We also offer translations of your Portuguese documents into English or from English into Portuguese. These translations will also be stamped by our certified translator.

Delivery Time for Portuguese Translations

Translating from Portuguese to Danish can be complex, and to create a translation that is entirely correct, it is important that the terminology is accurate. Therefore, it typically takes 4-5 business days before you receive your translation back. This may vary, but we will inform you about the delivery time upon approval.
