Certified or Legalized Italian Translation with Apostille
Legalisering.dk offers you four tailored solutions for your Italian translation needs.
Certified Translation
Certified or verified translations refer to documents translated by a certified translator who stamps and endorses their translation. This type of translation is often referred to as a sworn translation or a verified translation—all terms mean the same. Please note that you will receive this type of translation in physical paper form, and no changes or corrections can be made to the translation. You will receive your translation in PDF format, and then we will send the physical copy with a wet signature via GLS to your specified address.
Certified Translation with Legalization
The second option we offer is a certified translation that includes an endorsement from our certified translators. This translation can also be legalized; this is done by obtaining a confirmation endorsement from Danish Industry or a notary, followed by an apostille stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Due to requirements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will, in most cases, need you to send us your original document, as this document also needs to be legalized with an apostille before the translation can be legalized. You can either obtain the apostille on the original document yourself, or we can assist you with that. Your document must be issued by a Danish authority before we can assist with legalization.
Company-Certified Translation
This type of translation is carried out by a regular translator who will proofread the translation and then apply our company letterhead that certifies the translation. This can be a good alternative for obtaining a more cost-effective translation if the recipient accepts this type of translation. You can click here to read more about certified translations.
Company-Certified Translation with Legalization
The certified translation that includes our company letterhead can be legalized with a notary or Danish Industry and apostille. This is done by having the project manager take the translation to the notary, who approves the project manager’s signature, and then this notary endorsement is legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As mentioned above, due to the requirements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will, in most cases, need you to send us your original document, as this document must also be legalized with an apostille before the translation can itself be legalized. You can either obtain the apostille on the original document yourself, or we can assist you with that. Please let us know your preference in your inquiry. You can click here to read more about this translation.
Confidentiality
Our Italian translators are bound by confidentiality, and all documents sent to Legalisering.dk will be deleted if you do not proceed with an order.
Delivery Time for Italian Translations
The delivery time for Italian translations may vary, but the average order takes 2-7 business days before you receive the translated document. If you need the document faster, please specify this in your contact form.
Legal Conditions
If you need your document translated into Italian, we will typically include a stamp from the Italian consulate, which certifies the translator's signature for use in Italy. If you wish to obtain this yourself, please inform us.
We will then obtain an endorsement on your translation from Danish Industry and finally an apostille from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Our experience indicates that all these signatures and stamps are necessary for acceptance in Italy.
If your document needs to be translated from Italian to Danish, a signature and endorsement from the translator will suffice, as our translators are recognized by the Danish authorities.
