Certified or Legalised German Translation with Apostille

Legalisering.dk provides four tailored options for your German translation needs. Our team of experienced translators and interpreters ensures that your text is translated with precision, conveying the exact tone and meaning you intend. Our careful approach, combined with advanced language technologies, guarantees a high-quality translation that meets your specific needs and expectations.

Certified Translation

The first option is a certified translation. This involves a document being translated by a certified translator who then stamps and certifies the translation. This type of translation is also referred to as a "sworn translation" or "certified translation," and these terms are interchangeable. Note that this type of translation is delivered in physical format and cannot be altered or amended. You will receive the translation as a PDF file, followed by the physical copy with a wet signature sent via GLS to the address you specify.

Certified Translation with Legalisation

Another option is a certified translation with legalisation. This includes an endorsement from our certified translators. The translation can also be legalised by obtaining a confirmation endorsement from Danish Chamber of Commerce (Dansk Industri) or a notary, followed by an apostille stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Due to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ requirements, we generally need you to send us the original document as it must also be legalised with an apostille before the translation can be legalised. You can either obtain the apostille for the original document yourself or let us assist you. Please ensure that your document is issued by a Danish authority for us to facilitate the legalisation process.

Company-Certified Translation

A company-certified translation is done by a standard translator, proofread, and then verified with our company cover page. This can be a more cost-effective alternative if the recipient accepts this form of certification. Click here to learn more about our approach to company-certified translations and certification.

Company-Certified Translation with Legalisation

The company-certified translation, including our company cover page, can be further legalised with a notary and an apostille. The project manager takes the translation to a notary who approves their signature. We then handle the process with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where the notarial endorsement is stamped and legalised, ensuring international recognition of your documentation.

Similar to the above case, due to requirements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we usually need you to send us the original document, which also needs to be legalised with an apostille before the translation itself can be legalised. You can either arrange the apostille for the original document yourself or have us assist you. Please specify your preference in your enquiry. Click here to read more about this translation option.

Language Combinations

We offer certified translations from Danish to German with legalisation, and we also provide translations between English and German without legalisation. Additionally, we offer company-certified translations from Danish and English to German, including legalisation for documents issued by Danish authorities in English.

Professional Translations - Without Legalisation or Certification

If you need translations for texts or documents that do not require certification or legalisation, we are here to help. At Legalisering.dk, we have access to a network of over 2,000 translators proficient in a variety of language combinations and fields. Whether it’s for internal documents, product descriptions, blog posts, or other needs, send us your request via email or our contact form, and we will provide a quote promptly.

Price

Our minimum price for a certified translation from Danish/English to German is DKK 1,300 ex VAT, and with legalisation of the translation (without originals) the price is DKK 3,000 ex VAT. Our minimum price for a certified translation from Danish/English to German is DKK 490 ex VAT, and with legalisation of the translation (without originals) the price is DKK 1,900 ex VAT. However, all jobs are individual, so send us an enquiry and we will find a quote for you.

Delivery Time for German Translations

The delivery time for German translations can vary, but typically, the average order takes 2-5 business days before you receive the translated document. If you need the document more quickly, please let us know.

Depending on the country where you need your translation, there may be different requirements. These requirements might include needing a 'certified/sworn translation,' which means it must be carried out by a certified translator who stamps your translation. You may also be required to obtain an apostille for your translation—this can be arranged by us, and it will be included in the price if you select 'legalised translation' when requesting a quote. Therefore, we will ask you to send us your original documents.

If you need your translation legalised, your original document must also be legalised according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ guidelines. You can read more about this explanation here.

Receiving Your German Translation by Post

When Legalisering.dk completes a certified or legalised translation for you, you will receive the finished translation as a scanned copy, which is then sent by GLS. We deliver directly to your address and also offer international delivery if needed.
