Certified or Legalized English Translation with Apostille

At Legalisering.dk, we offer four solutions for your Chinese translation needs. These options are:

Certified Translation

Certified translations indicate that a document has been translated by a certified translator who stamps or certifies their translation. For Chinese translations, we can provide translation by a registered interpreter, who will endorse the translation with their signature and interpreter number. This type of translation differs slightly from a traditional certified translation but is equally valid.

Certified Translation with Legalization

The second option is a certified translation that, as mentioned above, is endorsed by one of our certified translators. This translation can also be legalized, which is done by obtaining a confirmation endorsement from Dansk Industri, followed by an apostille stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Due to the requirements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will typically need you to send us your original document, as this document must also be legalized with an apostille and translated before the translation can be legalized. You can either obtain the apostille on the original document yourself or we can assist you with that.

Company-Certified Translation

This type of translation is performed by a professional translator whose native language is Chinese, followed by proofreading and then stamped with our company header, confirming the translation. Company-Certified Translation with Legalization

This company-certified translation with our company header can be legalized with Dansk Industri and apostille. This process involves the project manager taking the translation to a notary, who will sign in front of the notary, thus validating the project manager's signature, and then this notary endorsement will be legalized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As with the previous case, due to the requirements from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we will generally need you to send us your original document, as this document must also be legalized with an apostille before the translation can be legalized. Delivery Time for Chinese Translations

The delivery time for Chinese translations can vary, but typically, the average order takes 10-15 business days before you receive the translated document. Delivery time heavily depends on whether your translation needs to be legalized, as this will take additional time for our translator to visit the notary and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Legal Conditions

When it comes to translations into Chinese, there are specific requirements for these translations. As China is a closed country, my certified interpreter will ensure that you receive a translation that will be approved in China. Therefore, in addition to the translation itself, we offer to handle the legalization process, which involves notary endorsement and apostille from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You will also need to use your original document, which will be combined with the translation—this must also be equipped with an apostille. You can then take this translation to the Chinese embassy, which will endorse the translation.

Delivery Time for a Chinese Translation

The delivery time for Chinese translations depends on the volume of text in the documents you need translated—especially for Chinese, which takes additional time due to its different writing system. You can help shorten the delivery time by providing names in either kanji or Latin letters, depending on the language combination. Additionally, there is often a significant amount of formatting/layout that needs to be adjusted in Chinese translations, making it even more important for us to see the text before we can provide a delivery time.
